that monday, met up with Nita (ouh, i love this woman).
it's been way toooo looonnngg.
she's doing pretty good i must say;
she's lost some weight but still, she looked good.
ive actually wrote it down in my 2ndhandbutstilllookprettywicked&verycheap Kate Spade planner,
which ive apparently bought though ebay sometime ago.
i some how have forgotten what day that monday was.
well, it's always the problem isnt it?
an imp day is coming up example: a friend's bdae.
the week before,
you tell yourself each and everyday that on the *insert date* is *insert name* bdae and that you're gonna wish him/her BUT on that day itself, you seriously forgotten all abt it.
well, if that's not the case for you, well, it certainly is the case for me most of the time.
it was actually Nita's bdae.
after that big lunch from Seoul Garden,
which we had spent aprox. 1 1/2 hrs sitting, cooking, eating, drinking, laughing, talking & gossipping.
& den the bugis street visit, which we spent abt an hr or so walking ard looking at shoes and bags.
& the quest to Sim Lim to find my laptop charger and her thumbdrive.
i still didnt even remember that it was her bdae.
it was until we were seated in the bus otw to Vivo.
She was asking me abt this Sunday,
& i had to lie to her saying that it was just another normal gathering.
BUT still, i didnt remember.
it was when i read a msg from Shiqin asking me whether i had bought Nita anithing for her bdae,
that was when i checked that monday's date.
i gave out a loud shriek and asked her this dumb question,
"EEEHHHH! nari bdae kau kn???!!!"
she looked at me with her shocked face and said "arh2. asal?"
and all i could reply back was, "ouh takde tanya je. aku boleh terluper. Happy Bdae eh."
i quickly msged Shiqin telling her that ive just wished her Happy Bdae despite having been with her for the last few hours.
a few minutes later,
Nita: Kau bilang Shiqin kn nari bdae aku?
Syidah: arh2. asal?
Nita: Takde, dier baru msg aku ckp Happy Bdae. hahaha.
Syidah: hahaha. ouh dier pon lupe kn. hahahaha.
nvm, we can redeem ourselves this Sunday.
i saw these gorgeous pair of leather sandals @ River Island ages ago.
so everytime i visit any River Island shop,
the one thing i'll look for are those sandals.
i would check the price, tried them on and put them back on the rack.
i seriously would have gotten it if it werent for the price.
$103 for a pair of open toed leather sandals?
i dont think it's worth it.
it's not like the whole thing is covered in leather, you know.
so, that monday, i went in wanting to check the price.
praying that it was on discount because really it's been on the shelf for far too long.
it had a sticker on it.
cud it be? were the sandals really on sale?
bcoz' im wearing my dad's glasses, i cudnt see that well.
furthermore, the sandals were at the most bottom shelf.
so, i took the sandals and read the label; "PIG SKIN LINING".
arhhh. amik kau!
i quickly throw the slipper away.
it was just the most natural quick and shocked reaction.
Nita who was behind me : hahahahahahaha! Pig Skin Lining kn? aku tau aku pon kene that time.
abeh kau buang tu kasot cam gitu.
Me: eh that time takde pon sticker die. aku dah nampak tu kasot dah lame tau. dah try brape byk kali. tapi tkd letak pig skin lining pon?
Nita: ader lahh. dier letak cam label besar gitu.
Me: Yeke?
Nita: arh2. kau aje tk nampak.
Me: tkplahh buat obat. mane tau pegang muke jer teros muke boleh smooth.
Nita: hahahahaha.
a while later, after we were out of that store.
Nita: eh tapi kalau pig skin lining tak boleh pakai ke?
Me: boleh uh. kau pakai stokin jadi tk interact ngan kulit kau. hahahaha
Nita: hahaha. abih part nk pakai tu, amik pakai aper? thongs eh? hahahaha.
Me: hahahaha. arh boleh jugak. atau pon kau sediakn debu tanah uh kat luar rumah kau.
jadi stiap kali kau nk pakai ker, lepas dah pakai, kau bleh wash off pakai debu tanah. hahaha.
ouh wells, so this means that i wont be getting that shoe.
i will if it's on 80% discount, which i doubt will happen.
hehe.
meanwhile,
im struggling to prepare everything by today.
all the decors must b done latest by tomoro.
will be goin out shopping for food items tomoro.
then, we'll start cooking on the morning itself.
& i still have not figure out wad to get for her yet.
